Aluminum scrap for building panels

A relatively high recycling rate can be achieved for aluminum sheets with a thickness of approximately 2 mm to 4 mm.

The metal recovery rate after remelting can reach 98%, depending on the type of furnace used and the operating process.

After remelting and adjusting the composition, the original alloy ingot can be cast.

However, the recycling rate of thin aluminum plates with a thickness of about 1 mm or less is relatively poor.

The increasing number of composite panels is more difficult to recycle.

The main reason is that there is no way to separate aluminum from other materials.

The aluminum is then re-melted and processed.

If the sorting is not thorough, the mixed scrap aluminum impurities will affect the re-melting furnace.
