Bubbles and cracking on the surface of hot-rolled aluminum plates
Author:Aluminum Sheeting for Trailers_Aluminum Trailer Siding Sheets_Mingsheng Aluminum Update time:2025-01-24 21:29:10Surface bubbles refer to irregular strips or circular cavities on the surface of aluminum plates. The edges of the strips and circular convex hulls are smooth and asymmetrical, which has a certain impact on the mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of aluminum plates.
Through pores refer to bubbles that penetrate the aluminum plate, which are symmetrical up and down, and are circular or strip-shaped. Bubbles will destroy the density of the organization and reduce the mechanical properties. If such bubbles appear, the aluminum plate will be scrapped.
Ingot cracking, the end or edge of the ingot cracks during hot rolling. These cracks need to be removed before the ingot can be used.
Surface cracks refer to the surface of the aluminum plate. It presents a right-angled crack.
