Reasons for uneven surface of aluminum plate

The thickness of the clad aluminum does not meet the standard because

the amount of reduction during hot-rolling welding and rolling is too large;

the thickness of the clad aluminum plate is used incorrectly.

The surface of the aluminum plate is not flat enough because

the plate is unevenly extended in the horizontal direction when there are impurities;

In the subsequent process, if the lateral temperature distribution of the plate is uneven, distortion will occur, which will also affect the flatness.

The waves appear on the edge of the aluminum plate because

the edge is extended too much than the center when there are impurities.

The measures are to change the initial convexity of the roll, enhance cooling, and increase the roll disturbance to improve the waves on the edge.
