Allowable defects in hot-rolled aluminum alloys
Author:Aluminum Sheeting for Trailers_Aluminum Trailer Siding Sheets_Mingsheng Aluminum Update time:2025-01-24 21:00:41Some defects are allowed.
These defects are specifically specified in the standard, or can be classified into some defects that have been specified. Although they reduce the comprehensive performance of aluminum alloys, they can still be used as long as they meet the standard requirements.
For example, surface bubble waves are uneven, scratches, abrasions, pressure marks, imprints, and paste marks;
The defects that are allowed to exist slightly are non-metallic indentation, metal indentation, and pine tree branch patterns;
The defects that meet the standard are wrinkles and small black spots.
3. Other defects are not specified in the standard or are specified, but not very specific, such as oil marks and dull surface.
According to the location, morphology and characteristics of the defects, the defects can be divided into surface quality defects, geometric size defects, shape defects, and performance defects.
