Packaging methods of aluminum coils and aluminum sheets

Aluminum coil packaging methods
Aluminum coil packaging can be divided into three types: vertical packaging, horizontal packaging and boxing.
Large aluminum coils with a width of not less than 650 mm and a weight of not less than 1.5 tons are generally packaged vertically, that is, the axis of the coil is upward, or horizontally, that is, the axis of the coil is horizontal.
Small aluminum coils are generally packaged horizontally or boxed, and vertical packaging is rarely used.
Due to the narrow width and light weight of the slit coil, multiple rolls are often packaged together. In order to avoid damage to the end face of the aluminum coil, concentric paper with a thickness of 1~3 mm and a similar outer diameter of the coil is usually added between the rolls. If the coil is curled very neatly, concentric paper can be omitted, and then two 16 mm steel belts are used to symmetrically bundle the slit coils together radially. The other packaging methods are the same as the packaging methods of single small coils.

Aluminum plate packaging method
Aluminum plate packaging method, ordinary aluminum plate with a thickness of not less than 30 mm, uses bare parts. For aluminum plates with a thickness of less than 5 mm, bare parts are not allowed, so they need to be packaged.
There are two ways to pack aluminum plates, buckle-down packaging and box packaging, which can be used for cross-cutting machine series to achieve online packaging. In order to prevent the surface from being scratched between the plates, most factories use lining paper between the plates. There are two ways to lining paper, manual lining paper, or electrostatic lining paper.
Most of the lining paper is made of newsprint, and the principle and equipment are very simple.
